2008 Stallion Service Auction Nomination Form & Rules

Bidding periods:
January 15 2008 - February 15, 2008 (6:00pm MST)
February 16, 2008 - March 15, 2008 (6:00pm MST)
March 16, 2008 - May 1, 2008 (6:00pm MST)

At the end of each bidding period, if the horse has not received a bid, the base breeding fee will increase by $50. If he has received a bid, he will be removed from the list of still-available stallions.

To place a bid, press the "PLACE BID" button, which is a few paragraphs down. It will be YOUR responsibility to choose the correct Stallion, Bid ($ amt), and Futurity. The webmaster will make all possible effort to keep the posted bids current!

Those horses with both the BSF and SOF notation are offering two breedings, with bids taken independently on each. You may choose which Futurity breeding to bid upon. If only one futurity is indicated, then your bid will be applied accordingly.

If you have questions, especially about AI arrangements, or any additional breeding costs, you are encouraged to contact the stallion owner before you consider bidding.

As time gets tight towards the cut-off, you may wish to view the bids up-to-the-minute. Hit the View Bids button (below), open the file, and view real-time bids, whether or not they have been posted yet. Remember, the time shown reflects the time at the ISP, which is one hour east of here. In the mean time, the webmaster will endeavor to keep this SSA page current, so hit your REFRESH button regularly.
