Cottonwood Springs
Paints would like everyone to meet our new foal,
Super Fancy Pants, who was born on April 15th and
is out of Donna Waylett's mare, Super Painted Lady
and Brian and Derinda Grimshaw's stallion, An
Obvious Dun. Thanks to Brian and Derinda for
donating a breeding fee to the Montana Paint Horse
Stallion Auction. Miss Fancy Pants will make her
first appearance in the fall futurities!

 Heaven
Dun Me Right (aka Luke) owned by Shawn and Maria
Jerome and shown by Maria, was the High Point
Yearling for the 2008 Circle L Arena Winter Series
Horse Shows. Yearling had to compete at 3 shows in
Yearling Halter, Yearling Showmanship and In Hand
Trail. We just wanted to thank Rod Cline of Circle L
Arena for the award and all the fun and friendship.

Pep py's
Fancy Fanny (APHA 2001 SPB Mare) owned by MPHC
member Pamela Jones of Columbus, MT
won the NRHA $200 added class at the NDQHA North
Dakota Winter Show in Valley City, ND April 24-27,
2008. The show is an AQHA show with two NRHA
(National Reining Horse Association) classes, Non
Pro and Open. This show was our first NRHA
(National Reining Horse Association) show. Fancy
and I take lessons from Sabrina Hayes of Billings,
Montana. "Fancy" has 4 lifetime APHA Halter
points, one Grand Champion halter mare, one Reserve
Grand Champion halter mare, and three APHA Trail
points. She also has a PAC COR in Trail, Halter and
Western Pleasure.

Valley
Visions stallion PP Chips Treasure sired
another minimal black and white colt and out of a
client's mare this past weekend. The mare is a sorrel
TB mare owned by Patsy Tihista of Nashua, Mt. He is one
big boy with LONG legs.

This is Chloe, she
was born on Good Friday. Her sire is The Mighty Gambler
and her dam is MHM Miss Fran Dandy. She is doing good
and getting cuter by the minute! Unfortunately, she does
not have a lot of color, but we think she will make
regular registry.

babies of the year. The first one, on the left, is
a colt by Duke Of Eclipse, who arrived on Jan. 3.
His name is OnTimeIs WhenIGetHere, or "Baron". The
second is a filly, "Duchess", born Mar. 9, also by Duke.

Waylett - C ongratulations
go out to the little brown horse without spots, C
Moon Tango, (Biscuit) on her two wins at the
Montana Gold Futurity held in Belgrade at the Circle
L in October. C Moon Tango is a solid bred yearling
filly owned by Donna Waylett, Cottonwood Springs.
Biscuit is out of SC Beau Bailey and Way To Go Moon,
owned by Donna. She won the yearling
halter Futurity, the yearling Trail In Hand
Futurity, and was third in the yearling longe line
futurity. She also was the MPHC year-end high point
solid bred halter horse. Watch for Biscuit in two
year old walk trot this year! Thanks go out to Big

Nice Go Moon, (Heart)
won the MPHC year-end high point award for Junior
Horse and the MPHC halter mares high point award for
2007. Heart is out of Midway Jet Pal and the
quarter horse mare, Moon Tango, owned by Donna
Waylett, Cottonwood Springs Paints.
The sire
of Nice Go Moon, Midway Jet Pal won the high point
performance stallion for the Montana Off -Spring
Futurity. Congratulations to Monnett Performance
Horses on donating a breeding to a wonderful
stallion and for all the support for the MPHC
stallion auction.
Nice Go Moon won the
Western Montana Paint Horse club hunter under saddle
futurity in Corvallis. She also won the Montana
Off -Spring trail futurity and the western horse
futurity in Columbus. She earned 38 APHA national
points this year.
Many thanks go out to
the MPHC association for putting on the shows this
year. Also, thanks go out to Big A Photography for
many fine photos.

Valley Visions is excited
to announce the birth of our new Grulla overo filly,
pictured here at 4 days old... She reminds us of her
full brother Chips and Dun. She has been paid into the
Breeders Trust. Her dam is Shes Dun Up Right and her
sire is PP Chips Treasure...she is a dynamic filly with
loads of presence.

Visions first foal of 2008 was born this past
Monday. She is a stunning black and white or blue roan
and white overo filly. Her dam is an own daughter of
the World Champion pleasure horse, Mr Good and Plenty by
Zippos Mr Goodbar. Her sire is our stallion PP Chips
Treasure. Treasure's sire has been on the leading sires
lists in performance and halter throughout 2007.

Whitney Paju of Glasgow has donated a custom Paint Horse
Coat Rack (measures 11" X 36") as a raffle item. The
proceeds from the raffle will help to offset the costs
of circuit awards for the MPHC shows. Raffle tickets are
$2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. Contact Maria Jerome (lazy4paints@yahoo.com)
if you would like purchase tickets as well as get
tickets to sell. The raffle winner will be
announced June 14th at the APHA show to be held at the
